Bodyshop Stripper/Fitter

£35k - £45k depending on experience

Southend-on-Sea

Permanent/Full Time

Monday to Friday (8am – 6pm) / 1 in 2 Saturdays (7am – 12pm)

Our client, an independent bodyshop in the Southend-on-Sea area, is on the lookout for an experienced Bodyshop Stripper/Fitter. If you hold the right experience – this could be your next role! Please apply today!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Removing panels carefully and efficiently, avoiding any additional damage.
  • Using appropriate tools in a safe manner.
  • Preparing vehicles with masking paper, protecting areas.
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts.
  • Liaising with the parts team, to order replacement parts.

Your Background & Skill:

  • Experience within a bodyshop environment and working on motor vehicles.
  • Experience stripping/ fitting vehicles.
  • Ability to work with heavy materials in a job that requires physical exertion.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to ensure you achieve targets.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
