On a daily basis, we also source potential candidates from a number of job board websites. Your date of birth for example is obtained so that when you reach retirement age, you will no longer be contacted regarding jobs.

Your choices
You have a choice about whether you wish to receive information from us or not. If you do not want to receive direct communications from us about the latest roles and news in the Automotive Industry, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes inside the Candidate Portal , or by simply replying to any email or text message you receive from us.
We will not contact you for marketing purposes by any means from the 25th May 2018 if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. If you have made no indication to us of your preference, we will continue to contact you until otherwise notified.
How you can access and update your information
The accuracy of your information is important to us. We have the Candidate Portal on this website meaning that you can create your own account and take control of your information, ensuring that we maintain the most accurate records possible. Not only will this enable us to keep in contact with you and provide only relevant information about job opportunities (should you opt in to Job Alerts), it also means that you can help keep us up to date with how your career is progressing and which step up or along the career ladder you're looking to take.
Your Right to be Forgotten
Under the new GDPR legislation, you now have the right to 'Request to be Forgotten'. What this means is that we will remove all personal data we hold about you from our database barring your name. The reason behind this is that we use third party job boards such as Reed and In Automotive on a daily basis to search for active job hunters. By holding your name on file we can ensure we don't contact you in the future.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information ACS Automotive Recruitment Consultancy hold about you at any time, and we will of course happily and freely supply this to you.
